Community Summit #3: Coffee and comp plan!

At Community Summit #3: Coffee and Comp Plan, participants were able to drop in and have casual conversations over coffee. This took place over multiple days from 8:00am to 10:00am. At these sessions participants shared their thoughts and perspectives on key planning topics as they related to the applicable Oregon Statewide Planning Goals. A brief Q&A session also occurred at the end of each session that was dedicated to general planning questions.

Community Summit #2

At Community Summit #2, participants reviewed future land use alternatives and identified which elements best serve the community’s vision. Attendees also reviewed draft goal statements for the Comprehensive Plan. 

Next steps include analysis of community responses and development of a preferred land use alternative for the City of La Pine that is aligned with the Vision Statement. New Comprehensive Plan goals and policies will be developed to reflect the community’s aspirations for the future of La Pine.
